Greetings!
My name is Pete Selleck and I am the new principal at Fahari L. Jeffers Elementary School. I have a great deal of school administration experience from The Preuss School at UC San Diego, and more recently in Vista Unified and Alpine Union School Districts.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles and attended UC San Diego to earn a degree in History. Shortly after graduation, I earned an M.A. in Education Curriculum and Instruction from Claremont Graduate University.
My mission in schools is to build high performing and compassionate learning communities.
In my free time I enjoy the company of my wife Jenny, a 4th grade teacher and native San Diegan, and my kids Kennedy and Kai. I also enjoy spending time at the kids’ sporting events, reading, playing basketball and in various ocean activities.
