  • Spring Break: Welcome back, doves! We hope that you had a restful break, and that you were also able to enjoy some quality family time. It’s officially 4th quarter…and, we’re ready to begin a successful, fun, and positive final quarter at Fahari L. Jeffers! 

 

  • Honoring Indigenous People Month: This month, we will be honoring the cultures and histories of Native American people.

 

  • School Library Month: School Library Month is celebrated in April every year. This month, we will celebrate the essential role that strong school libraries play in transforming learning.

  • Scholastic Book Fair: The Scholastic Book Fair begins this week in our MPR! The hours are 1pm-3:15pm. Please stop by before or after your conference to purchase books, pencils, journals, and more! Thank you!

  • District Training: This week, the district office is holding CVESD teacher training at Jeffers Monday, 3/4, Tuesday, 3/5, and Wednesday, 3/6, from 8am-3pm. Please expect traffic and parking delays. Thank you for your understanding. 

     

  • Read Across America Week: This week, we will be celebrating Read Across America week where we will promote literacy and a love of reading! Please participate in our spirit days this week! 

     

  • Modified Days Begin this Week: Parent-Teacher conferences begin this Thursday! Please note that modified days are Thursday, 3/7- Friday, 3/15.
