Reminders for the week of September 18, 2022

Announcements:

  • Parent Teacher Conferences and Modified Days: How exciting! Parent-teacher conferences continue this week and end on Friday, September 23rd. During this time, students throughout the district have modified days. TK dismissed at 1:15 p.m., and students in K-6 dismissed at 1:00p.m.

  • Birthdays: We love celebrating birthdays at Jeffers! But, please remember that due to student allergies, parents may not distribute cupcakes or edible treats. If you’d like to distribute party bags… GREAT! But, please no candies, cakes, or treats. Items to put inside party bags are:  smelly pencils/erasers, squishies, fidgets, etc. If your kiddo is in TK or Pre-school, please avoid small toys that can be potential choking hazards. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Traffic Loop: Please remember to use the cross walk at all times to ensure student safety.

  • Parking Lot: Please enter and exit the school campus using the sidewalk. The two safe ways to arrive/exit the campus are using the sidewalks on Avenida Escaya and/or Camino Prado. Please do not walk up the ramps  in the parking lot as this is a safety issue when cars are entering and exiting the school. Thank you for your understanding.

  • National Anthem: We are in need of doves who are comfortable singing in front of an audience, who can sing the National Anthem, “Star Spangled Banner”. If your kiddo loves to sing, please inform the front office, and/or email [email protected] . Thank you!

  • Storybook Character Parade: On Monday, 10/31 @8:45am, students, parents, and future doves are invited to dress up for this special school spirit day. We encourage all students to walk in the parade with the book that matches their costume. If parents do not want their student to participate, that is okay;  but, please be sure to contact your student’s teacher.  Students may not wear character costumes with weapons of violence, scary masks, or masks with blood. Parents are invited to attend during this event. Thank you!

  • Fall Break: Students are on Fall Break from 9/26-10/10. Students return on Tuesday, 10/11, which is a modified day. Parents…Thank you for being positive, kind, and appreciative of the Jeffers team.
