  • Welcome Back: WELCOME TO 3^RD QUARTER!!!! WE HOPE THAT YOU HAD THE BEST WINTER BREAK EVER! WE HOPE THAT YOU’RE WELL-RESTED… AND READY FOR THE SECOND HALF OD THE SCHOOL YEAR! 

• Thank you: The Jeffers Staff would like to express our gratitude to our families for the holiday gifts, and delicious treats that were given to us before the break. We are most appreciative of your thoughtfulness, and generosity. Thank you. 

• Students return on Wednesday, January 10^th, which will be a modified day.

• Quarterly Character Traits: This quarter, teachers and staff will focus on modeling “Zest” and “Gratitude” for students.  Students will learn why exhibiting these character traits is important and have plenty of opportunities to show their zest and gratitude to one another throughout the quarter!

• Local American Culture Heritage Month: This month, we will recognize the achievements and contributions of local American champions who have inspired others to achieve, and who have made a difference in our world.

• Birthdays: We love celebrating birthdays at Jeffers! But, please remember that due to student allergies, parents may not distribute cupcakes or edible treats. If you’d like to distribute party bags… GREAT! But, please no candies, cakes, or treats. Items to put inside party bags are:  smelly pencils/erasers, squishies, fidgets, etc. If your kiddo is in TK or Pre-school, please avoid small toys that can be potential choking hazards. Thank you for your understanding.

Important Announcements:

• Apex Fun Run: GET READY FOR THE APEX FUN RUN, DOVES!!!! This is our BIGGEST Fundraiser to help raise money for our school, and it BEGINS THIS WEEK! SAVE THE DATE: The APEX JOG-A-THON will be held on Thursday, December 7^th! Please be on the lookout for more details this week! Thank you for your support! 

• Birthdays: We love celebrating birthdays at Jeffers! But, please remember that due to student allergies, parents may not distribute cupcakes or edible treats.
