THANK YOU FOR SHOWING UP AND SHOWING OUT ON BEHALF OF OUR STUDENTS AND OUR PARENTS!

Have a good evening!

Drop Off and Pick Up:
- Beginning this week, arrival procedures remain the same. We encourage parents to walk their student(s) to the blacktop and wait with them until the bell rings. Please just remember to clear a walking path once students start walking to enter the building.
- At dismissal, teachers in grades 2-6 will wait with students at the cone until the bell rings @ 2:45pm. Once the bell rings, office staff and noon duties will be present to ensure students exit the campus safely. Parents must communicate with their child to ensure students know what to do and where to go after school. Thank you for being on time at dismissal, and for communicating your household dismissal expectations with your child.
- Students in TK and K will continue to be dismissed from the kinder gates until a parent is present.
- 1st grade teachers will continue waiting with students at the cone.
- All students in grades TK-6 who are not picked up within 5 minutes of the dismissal bell will be walked to the office.
Traffic Loop:
- Please do not park in the traffic loop and exit your vehicle while you’re waiting for your student(s). If you need to exit your vehicle, please park in a parking spot.
- The traffic loop in front of the school is ONLY for vehicles who intend to pull forward to keep the flow of traffic running smoothly.
- Again, please do NOT park and exit your vehicle as it causes the traffic loop to become congested, which is a safety issue. Thank you for adhering to the traffic guidelines to ensure traffic runs smoothly and our students are safe.
PETS:
- Pets (dogs, cats, etc.,) are not allowed on campus (except for service animals). If you bring a pet to school, it should remain in your vehicle, and/or on the sidewalk near Camino Prado for student safety reasons. Thank you for your understanding.
School Site Council:
- WE NEED YOU!!!!School Site Council is comprised of 4 elected parent/community representatives and 4elected staff representatives. The role of the SSC is to develop, approve and monitor the School Plan for Student Achievement, and the school budget. Meetings are held once a month, on Thursdays, at 3:00pm at Jeffers in the conference room. Attached, please find the nomination form! We hope that you join our SSC team!
Thank you!
