Reminders for the week of March 31, 2024

  • Spring Break: Welcome back, doves! We hope that you had a restful break, and that you were also able to enjoy some quality family time. It’s officially 4th quarter…and, we’re ready to begin a successful, fun, and positive final quarter at Fahari L. Jeffers! 

 

  • Honoring Indigenous People Month: This month, we will be honoring the cultures and histories of Native American people.

 

  • School Library Month: School Library Month is celebrated in April every year. This month, we will celebrate the essential role that strong school libraries play in transforming learning.

  • First Day of 4th quarter! 
  • Welcome Tunnels begin at 8:00am! If your child is sensitive to loud music, please enter the campus through the front office for silent tunnels. We’re excited to see everyone back on Tuesday. Thank you!

Announcements: 

 

 

  • Scholastic Book Fair: The Scholastic Book Fair begins this week in our MPR! The hours are 1pm-3:15pm. Please stop by before or after your conference to purchase books, pencils, journals, and more! Thank you! 

     

  • Modified Days Continue this Week: Parent-Teacher conferences continue this week! Please note that modified days this week are Monday, 3/11- Friday, 3/15. Please make arrangements to ensure that your student is picked up for these early dismissal days. Thank you! 

     

  • ELPAC Testing: ELPAC testing is here for our Multilingual English Learners (February 20-March 15)! If your dove will be taking the ELPAC, please make sure that they get a good night’s rest and have a healthy breakfast. Thank you!
